Prime T Review

|

This testosterone booster seems to be one of the most popular supplements on the market. But does it contain the right ingredients needed to compete with the best?

Claimed to promote:

  • Testosterone levels
  • Estrogen balance
  • Prostate health
  • Sex drive

It’s clear with the benefits advertised that RSP Nutrition has focused on selling to the older generation here. But we’re only concerned about whether it delivers the necessary benefit to improve your test levels.

If you’re looking for an in-depth review – you’ve found it. We’ll examine everything in Prime-T, so you know exactly what to expect with this product.

Take a look:

About The Company

We just have to point out that RSP Nutrition has one of the worst ‘about us’ section we’ve ever seen…we didn’t learn anything about the company (such as when it was founded etc).

We don’t understand why companies feel they can skip this part – for us, we judge the quality of a company on how they present themselves on their website. A company should be proud of their history, and willing to show you everything about themselves.

Anyway, now that we’ve finished that rant…let’s see what’s under the ‘hood’ of RSP Nutrition Prime-T.

The Ingredients and How They Work

After looking at RSP Nutrition’s ingredient list, we can see why it’s popular; it contains some great tried-and-tested nutrients.

However, it’s also let down by other nutrients such as DIM (Dinndolymethane). But we’ll tell you more about that below.

Anyway, we’ll be examining the most important ingredients here, or we’ll be here all day writing – and you’ll get bored reading. To save that from hapepening, we’ll tell you about the only ingredients you need to know about.

See for yourself:

Vitamin D3

If you’re picking one ingredient to supplement in general, then Vitamin D3 is your best choice. It’s shown to be beneficial for almost everything – but most importantly, it’s proven to raise testosterone levels.

However, you need dosages of each least 3,332IU per serving; Prime-T only contains 3,000IU, which is slightly under, so you might not experience Vitamin D3’s full range of benefits.

Studies have shown that the sweet spot for supplements are serving sizes of 5,000IU – so you should keep an eye out for test boosters with this optimal dosage.

But credit where credit is due; good job by RSP Nutrition for adding Vitamin D3 here.

D-Aspartic Acid

Another great choice of nutrients by RSP Nutrition here. DAA has shown to encourage your brain to release more hormones – leading to higher levels of testosterone and HGH.

As a result, we consider DAA to be a key ingredient in any test booster. And RSP Nutrition has done well to dose this nutrient correctly too – you need at least 2,000mg for this to work, and Prime-T contains 3,200mg.

Good work again by RSP Nutrition.

Fenugreek Extract

It just gets better and better for this test booster so far. Fenugreek is another key nutrient in these supplements – it’s scientifically proven to work, and you can’t argue against that.

Fenugreek has also been dosed correctly in Prime-T too, so there’s no problems here.

Maca Extract

Maca is a vegetable that belongs to the brocolli family, and has been used as a aphrodisiac for a long time. And for good reason – it’s recently been found to boost your libido.

That’s the good news. But the bad news is this; Maca has no effect on your testosterone levels.

However, we’ll also counteract this bad news with this – Vitamin D3, D-Aspartic Acid and Fenugreek will do enough for your test levels, so a simple boost in libido is great here.

DIM

Now, this is the first negative ingredient in Prime-T. It’s thought to stop test converting into estrogen – but this isn’t needed when taking a natural T booster supplement, as there’s no risk in this side effect occurring.

But that’s not the worst part – DIM can actually encourage your body to convert T into E in large dosages. Studies suggest that large dosages of DIM are anything above 100mg.

As Prime T contains 250mg DIM, you might be at risk of suffering from this side effect.

Safed Musli Extract

This is a herb that’s been used in traditional medicine for a very long time. It’s shown positive signs to improve your erections – although no studies have actually proven it works…

Bioperine

If you’re not sure what this is, it’s simply black pepper – the same stuff you add to your food. It can be beneficial, as it improves the absorption rate of other ingredients its consumed with.

Black Pepper Extract is never a key ingredient in any supplement. But there’s no doubt that it’s useful and doesn’t cause any side effects.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Contains Vitamin D3
  • Fenugreek shown to promote T levels
  • DAA a key nutrient
  • Maca shown to raise libido

Cons:

  • DIM can encourage body to convert T into E
  • Missing some key nutrients

Side Effects

Prime-T is actually pretty safe compared to most testosterone boosters on the market. However, DIM has shown to potentially cause your body to begin converting testosterone into estrogen – which is very bad and can lead to gynecomastia (man boobs) among other issues.

We really wish RSP Nutrition hadn’t included this ingredient in their test booster – but unfortunately they have.

  • Raised estrogen levels

Review Conclusion

Prime-T has made us very happy. It’s good to see an effective testosterone booster – you’ll be surprised to see how many useless supplements we review on this website.

With optimal dosages of Vitamin D3, Fenugreek and D-aspartic Acid; RSP Nutrition has shown they’ve researched properly before formulating this product.

However, we can’t escape the possibility of the side effect caused by DIM. If Prime-T didn’t contain DIM, it would definitely be competing for the top spot in our best test boosters list. But it wasn’t to be.
