Juggernaut X Review

Our Rating

Juggernaut X is a pre workout supplement by Infinite Labs. It comes in 21 serving containers, in 2 flavors – Orange Sorbet and Ultimate Punch.

Claimed to promote:

  • Strength
  • Muscle Pumps
  • Endurance

It’s advertised as a hard-hitting supplement with a name like Juggernaut X. So we’ve analyzed it’s ingredient, and the company behind it – to see whether it’s effective or not.

Take a look:

About the Company

Infinate Labs was founded in 2009, and they pride themselves on the quality of their products being “committed to excellence”.

They market a range of products, from fat burners to pre workout supplements. But apart from that, there wasn’t much more information available online.

The Ingredients and How They Work

There’s a decent amount of ingredients in Juggernaut X, without any hidden in blends – so this gets a thumbs up from us.

But let’s take a deeper look this pre workout’s ingredients, to see how effective it is:

L-Citrulline

This is a key pre workout ingredient and is very effective at enhancing muscle pumps in the gym. Why?

Well, it turns into nitric oxide in your kidneys, which raises your nitric oxide levels. In turn, this leads to vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), resulting in great muscle pump in the gym.

Infinite Labs have dosed L-Citrulline perfectly at 8,000mg (its optimal dose is 6,000mg-8,000mg).

Creatine Monohydrate

One of the most reliable ingredients in the industry, Creatine Monohydrate’s proven to improve strength and endurance – great benefits to boost your workout.

Beta-Alanine

A mistake by Infinite Labs by including this. Although Beta-Alanine can enhance muscular endurance, it can cause paresthesia in doses over 0.8g-1g.

Paresthesia is a tingling on the skin of your face, chest, hands, and extremities – it’s not life threatening, but it’s uncomfortable enough to send you home!

As Juggernaut X contains 2.5g of Beta-Alanine, it’s almost certain to cause paresthesia.

L-Tyrosine

This is a cognitive enhancer, which can improve your memory and reaction time. However, it offers no more benefits to your gym session – Infinite Labs should’ve replaced this with Caffeine, as Caffeine improves strength and endurance, as well as mental function.

Agmatine Sulfate

This is most commonly used to reduce pain levels, and is also considered to be a cognitive boosting ingredient.

However, there hasn’t been enough studies conducted on this ingredient to prove whether it’s effective or not – meaning it’s an unreliable ingredient.

L-Histidine

This amino acid that’s used to treat arthiritis and kidney failure or dialysis. However, no studies have proven that it provides any benefit to boost your gym session.

Caffeine

A great ingredient in any pre workout, Caffeine boosts your strength, endurance, and cognition (alertness, focus, reaction time) in the gym.

But there’s one thing you need to watch out for  – the dose. Why? Because a high dose (over 300mg) can cause side effects like jitters and energy crashes.

As Juggernaut X contains 350mg, you’re in danger of experiencing adverse reactions here – those sensitive to Caffeine should definitely watch out.

So what’s the best dose of Caffeine? You should look for a dose between 150-200mg, to feel the benefits, but avoid any unwanted side effects.

Juggernaut X Review Conclusion

We like that Juggernaut X doesn’t hide any ingredients in proprietary blends, and that it contains an optimal amount of L-Citrulline for intense muscle pumps.

But here’s where the bad news starts. It contains a high dose of Caffeine (over 300mg), which can lead to jitters and energy crashes. The large dose of Beta-Alanine can cause paresthesia, which will ruin your workout in the gym.

You should look for a pre workout that comes with no risks of side effects – 100% natural ingredients are your best option here. Also, look out for more key ingredients, like Beetroot Extract, L-Carnitine, and Rhodiola Rosea.
