Outrage has one of the smallest nutrient profiles we’ve seen in a pre workout supplement – but less isn’t always better. But one positive is that none of its ingredients are hidden in any blends, meaning you know the exact doses of each ingredient.

This is basically branded Glycerol powder. But what’s Glycerol and what does it do?
Well, it’s a liquid that’s almost as sweet as sugar (60%), and it can have a hydrating effect due to its ability to absorb water. But it can dehydrate you if you don’t consume enough water, which can cause side effects.
It’s important to know exactly what this ingredient does, so you can stay safe by increasing your water intake – but those who aren’t aware of its potential to dehydrate can suffer unwanted side effects like dizziness, feeling sluggish, and weakness.
Not only that, the benefit of Glycerol isn’t even a key feature of a pre workout supplement.
Arginine Silicate Inositol
This is a form of arginine that’s bound to silicate – it was created to promote nitric oxide level, leading to muscle pumps in the gym.
However, here’s the bad news – L-Arginine has a poor absorption rate, meaning your body doesn’t make use of it when orally supplemented, so it’s ineffective in a pre workout supplement.
If you’re looking for intense muscle pumps while lifting weights, Citrulline Malate is your best option – Citrulline has a great absorption rate and turns into L-Arginine in your kidneys. Basically, it’s more reliable in delivering muscle pumps in the gym.

This is a cognitive booster, which can be effective in enhancing memory, focus, and reaction time. However, studies have shown that it’s most effective when taken in doses of 100-150mg per kg of bodyweight – meaning a 80kg person would need 8,000mg to experience its full benefits.
Outrage only contains 300mg, so it’s unlikely to deliver great advantages to your gym session. It’s more suited to a Nootropic supplement anyway, as the only benefit it offers is increased cognition – Caffeine offers this, along with key pre workout benefits.

This is used in pre workout supplements as it’s believed to be a stimulant and contain fat burning properties. However, there hasn’t been enough studies conducted on Hordenine to prove that it delivers these benefits.
This is worrying, as it also means no-one knows how much you can consume safely – so we can’t say for sure whether the dose in outrage will cause side effects.
